Product introduction

Robi-M Tablet should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for longer duration than recommended by your doctor.

Some of the common side effects on of this medicine includes nausea, indigestion, heartburn, stomach pain, weakness, sleepiness, and dizziness. If any of these side effects bother you or do not go away with time, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent these side effects.

The medicine may not be suitable for everybody. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any problems with your heart, kidneys, and liver. To make sure it is safe for you, let your doctor also know all the other medicines you are taking. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctors before using this medicine as it may cause harm to the developing baby.

Robi-M Tablet treats pain due to muscle spasm by relaxing stiff muscles. It also reduces swelling in the muscles. Altogether, it helps in easy movement and reduces discomfort. Once you see some improvement, you can start doing therapy exercises (such as walking or breathing exercises) that will help you get your strength back more quickly. It is advisable to continue taking Robi-M Tablet until your doctor advises you to stop.

How to use Robi-M Tablet

How Robi-M Tablet works

Robi-M Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Ibuprofen and Methocarbamol which relieve pain and relax the muscles. Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Methocarbamol is a muscle relaxant. It works by acting on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.

  • You have been prescribed Robi-M Tablet to get relief from pain and stiffness in the muscles.
  • Along with taking it, your doctor might advise you to undergo physiotherapy to get relief from pain.
  • You might experience nausea, ask your doctor to prescribe you an antiemetic (anti-sickness medicine) if it troubles you.
  • Immediately seek medical help if you experience hallucinations, sweating, shivering, fast heart rate, muscle twitching, or loss of coordination.
  • Inform your doctor if you have a history of seizures, heart disease, or stroke.
  • If you have asthma, symptoms such as wheeze or breathlessness might become worse by Robi-M Tablet. If this happens to you, consult your doctor immediately.
