R L Injection is a balanced electrolyte solution that helps restore fluids and essential minerals in the body after trauma or fluid loss. Sodium Chloride maintains blood pressure and fluid balance, while Sodium Lactate helps provide energy and correct mild blood acidity. Potassium Chloride supports proper heart and muscle function, and Calcium Chloride is important for muscle movements, nerve signals, and blood clotting. Together, these components help rehydrate the body, correct electrolyte imbalances, and stabilize vital functions during short-term fluid replacement.

Quick tips

  • R L Injection is used to provide your body with extra water and electrolytes (salt). It is used when a patient is not able to drink enough liquids or when additional fluids are needed after any surgery or trauma.
  • It should be used with caution in patients with diabetes, peripheral edema (swelling in the arms, feet, or legs), or pulmonary edema (when fluids build up in the lungs).
  • Your blood pressure will be monitored regularly while taking R L Injection.
