Flurbiprofen is used in the treatment of osteoarthritis, dental pain, post operative pain, muscular pain, gout, rheumatoid arthritis, menstrual pain and migraine.

How it works

Flurbiprofen belongs to a class of medicine called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Flurbiprofen exerts a lasting analgesic and an anti-inflammatory effect as it reduces the production of pain stimulating chemicals (prostaglandins) by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX).
