PD Lyte P Infusion

PD Lyte P Infusion injection is administered under the supervision of a healthcare professional. You are not advised to self administer this injection. Inform your doctor if you have any known allergy from this medication.

You may experience symptoms of injection site reactions such as redness, swelling, and pain. Usually, they go away with time but if these symptoms persist for a longer duration, please consult your doctor. Inform your doctor if you are suffering from any disease or are taking any medicines.

This medicine may increase the levels of protein in the body, thus blood test is recommended during the ongoing treatment.

• Short term fluid replacement after trauma

• PD Lyte P Infusion is used to provide your body with extra water and carbohydrates (calories from sugar). It is used when a patient is not able to drink enough liquids or when additional fluids are needed after any surgery or trauma.
• It should be used with caution in patients with diabetes, hypokalemia (low potassium), peripheral edema (swelling in the arms, feet, or legs) or pulmonary edema (when fluids build up in the lungs).
• Your blood sugar level will be monitored regularly while taking PD Lyte P Infusion.
