Panthobic Gel is a medicine used in the treatment of eye injury and imflammation. It works by improving the hydration and relieves burning, itching, irritation, and discomfort of eyes. It also promote wound healing after eye surgeries.

Panthobic Gel is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash your hands before and after applying the medicine. Use it regularly to get the most benefit from it. Do not use more than you need, it will not clear your condition faster and may only increase the side effects. Do not use it for longer than your doctor has told you to. You can help the medicine work better by keeping the affected areas clean, making sure they are dry and washing your hands before and after treating the infection.

It may cause irritation and burning sensation immediately following the application. However, these side effects are temporary and usually subside on their own. Inform your doctor if they persist for a longer duration. Do not wear contact lenses while using it. You should call your doctor if you think you might have a severe allergic reaction. Signs of this include rash, swelling of the lips, throat or face, swallowing, or breathing problems.

How to use Panthobic Eye Gel

Quick tips

  • Panthobic Gel is used to heal and reduce discomfort in the eye after surgery.
  • Wash your hands first before applying Panthobic Gel. To avoid contamination, do not touch the tip of the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface.
  • If you are wearing contact lenses, remove them before applying Panthobic Gel. Wait at least 10 minutes before replacing your contact lenses.
  • After applying Panthobic Gel, close your eyes, and place one finger at the corner of your eye. Apply gentle pressure for 1 to 2 minutes before opening your eyes. This will prevent the medication from draining out. Try not to blink or rub your eye. 
  • If you are using another kind of eye medication (such as drops or ointments), wait at least 5 minutes before applying other medications.
