Ornant Oral Suspension

Ornant Oral Suspension may be taken with or without food. It should be used in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. It is advised to take this medicine at a fixed time. This medicine should not be taken more than the recommended dose.

Common side effects of this medicine include nausea, bloating, headache, and abdominal pain. If you experience any side effect persistent or bother you, let your doctor know. They may be able to suggest ways to reduce or prevent the symptoms.

Remember to finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important that this medicine should not be stopped suddenly without consulting your doctor.

• Liver disease

• Ornant Oral Suspension protects the liver cells from toxins and helps the liver to perform its normal functions.
• Your doctor may monitor your liver function and bilirubin levels every month for the next 3 months after the start of therapy, and every 6 months thereafter.
• You will be regularly monitored for blood creatinine and blood/urine urea levels while on treatment with Ornant Oral Suspension.
• Avoid smoking and drinking as it further degrades liver functioning.
• Avoid fatty food, take a healthy diet, and exercise regularly.
