Oflo DM Eye Drop is to be used as per the label instructions or as suggested by your doctor. This medicine must be applied only to the affected eye and use it regularly to get the most benefit. The course of the medicine should be completed even if you feel better. You must wash your hands before administering the medicine. Do not use it more than the recommended dose.

Generally, this is a safe medicine. However, it may cause mild and temporary irritation and discomfort in the eye. Consult your doctor if any side effects persist or worry you. If you experience any allergic reaction (rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, etc.), you must seek immediate medical help.

Oflo DM Eye Drop is used to treat bacterial infections of the eyes such as conjunctivitis or pink eye. It stops the growth of bacteria causing infection and helps relieve pain, swelling, redness, itching, or irritation in the eyes. Use it 2-3 times a day for at least a week or as prescribed by the doctor. Your symptoms might improve after using Oflo DM Eye Drop. However, make sure to complete the full course of treatment. This will ensure that the infection is completely cured and prevent it from returning.

How Oflo DM Eye Drop works

Oflo DM Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines : Ofloxacin and Beclometasone. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic. It treats bacterial eye/ear infections by preventing the bacteria from dividing and repairing. It does so by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. Beclometasone is a steroid. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make your eye red, swollen and itchy.

Quick tips

Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat.
Do not touch the tip to any surface to avoid contamination.
Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication to avoid dilution.
