Norper Suspension is taken without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.

The most common side effects are diarrhea, taste change, weakness, restlessness, and tremor. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. It may also cause sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness.

Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. You should also tell your doctor if you have any kidney diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you.

Acidity (acid reflux) is a condition in which excess stomach acid flows back into the food pipe, causing burning pain, sour taste, and discomfort. Norper Suspension helps relieve these symptoms by neutralizing the acid and protecting the stomach lining, providing relief from heartburn and related discomfort.

Vomiting
Vomiting is the sudden expulsion of stomach contents, often caused by irritation in the digestive tract. Norper Suspension helps control vomiting by improving stomach movement and calming the digestive system, making you feel more comfortable.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

How Norper Suspension works

Norper Suspension is a combination of two medicines:

Norper Suspension helps relieve vomiting and acidity.
This medicine will only be prescribed for a short period (no more than five days) and your doctor may want to check on your progress afterwards.
Drink plenty of water while taking Norper Suspension.
Do not take Norper Suspension at least 2 hours before or after taking other medicines as it may interact with other medicines.
Avoid taking soft drinks, citrus fruits like orange and lemon, which can irritate the stomach and increase acid secretion.
Incorporate the folowing lifestyle changes in order to prevent acidity:
1. Make sure you eat regular meals and drink plenty of water.
2. Avoid spicy and fatty fried food.
3. Lose weight if you are obese.
4. If you are a smoker, consider giving up.
5. Don't drink too much alcohol.
6. Do not go to bed immediately after taking a meal. Sit in a relaxed position for some time for better digestion.

Norper Suspension is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby.

Driving

It is not known whether Norper Suspension alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react. Please consult your doctor.
Norper Suspension may cause drowsiness, dizziness, dyskinesia and dystonias which could affect the vision and may interfere with the ability to drive.
