Product introduction
Use Nitra Met Gel in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Apply it only to the affected areas of the mouth. It should not be used in excess amounts, and also avoid swallowing it. In case of accidental contact with your eyes, immediately rinse them with plenty of water.
This medicine is generally safe, but it may cause a bitter taste and lead to staining of your teeth; thus, avoid using it for a long duration. If you experience any allergic reactions following the use of the medicine, inform your doctor without delay.

How Nitra Met Dental Gel works
Nitra Met Gel is a combination of two medicines: Chlorhexidine Gluconate and Metronidazole. Chlorhexidine Gluconate is an antiseptic and disinfectant. It works by binding to the surface of teeth, inner cheeks, and gums. This kills the infectious microorganisms that cause gum disease, tartar, and other mouth infections. Metronidazole is an antibiotic that kills bacteria and other infectious microorganisms by damaging the DNA.
