Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nimodex Tablet is to be taken with food. This will help to avoid acidity and heartburn.
Nimodex Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Nimesulide, Paracetamol / Acetaminophen and Dextropropoxyphene which relieve pain and relax the muscles. Nimesulide is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) and Paracetamol / Acetaminophen is an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Dextropropoxyphene is a opioid analgesic (pain reliever). It works by decreasing the perception of pain by blocking the transmission of pain signals to the brain.
Taking Nimesulide+Paracetamol / Acetaminophen+Dextropropoxyphene with alcohol can cause liver damage.

Nimodex Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy. There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.

It is not known whether Nimodex Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Nimodex Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Nimodex Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Nimodex Tablet is not recommended in patients with end stage kidney disease.
Nimodex Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.
