Nexiflex TP Tablet should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor.

Using this medicine can cause some common side effects such as dizziness, weakness, and sleepiness. If any of these side effects bother you or do not go away with time, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent these side effects.

How Nexiflex TP Tablet works

Nexiflex TP Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Tolperisone and Paracetamol, which relieves pain and relaxes the muscles. Tolperisone is a muscle relaxant. It works by acting on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve the muscle stiffness or spasm. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and an antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever.

Nexiflex TP Tablet contains paracetamol. This medicine is known to cause harm to the liver especially in the doses above the recommended level. Also, avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, as it may further increase your risk of liver damage. Use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with underlying liver disease. Contact your doctor immediately if you notice any early signs and symptoms of liver damage such as fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, stomach pain, dark urine, yellow skin or eyes and abnormal liver enzymes.
It may take about an hour to see the initial benefit of pain relief after taking Nexiflex TP Tablet.
No, taking a higher than the recommended dose may not be more effective, rather it may increase the chances of having some serious side effects and toxicity.
