My father has been diagnosed with high BP and sugar in 2010. Since then he was on medicines. Initially he is taking medicines but later he was moved to huminsulin 30/70 which he take 6 units twice a day. Early this year, he has visited a different doctor in Gurgaon and he changed his insulin. Now he is taking humalog 3 times a day with 10 units each and Lantus with 14 units at night. His sugar levels are around 100 in fasting and approx 150 after meal. Can you please advise should he continue with the new insulin or move to old insulin which he was taking earlier. One important point he has been diagnosed with CKD.
