How ASTHAlin Syrup works

New Asthalin Expectorant contains salbutamol and guaifenesin, which help relieve breathing difficulties and clear mucus from the airways. Salbutamol is a bronchodilator that relaxes the muscles surrounding the airways, helping them widen so air can flow more easily. Guaifenesin is an expectorant that thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough up. Together, these ingredients help improve airflow and mucus clearance and provide symptomatic relief.

Do not use it to manage an asthma attack unless your doctor has specifically advised you to do so. Seek urgent medical care if you experience severe or worsening breathing difficulty.

Some medicines may alter salbutamol's effects or increase the risk of side effects. Do not start or stop medicines without medical advice.
Consult your doctor if your cough persists for more than 2 weeks, worsens or repeatedly returns. Seek urgent medical attention if you develop severe breathlessness, chest pain, blue or grey lips, or difficulty speaking because of breathlessness. These symptoms may indicate a serious respiratory problem.
