How to use Neurogesic Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Neurogesic Tablet is to be taken with food.
This will help to avoid acidity and heartburn.

How Neurogesic Tablet works

Neurogesic Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Diclofenac and Paracetamol which relieve pain. They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for fever, pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

CAUTION
Taking Diclofenac+Paracetamol with alcohol can cause liver damage.
Pregnancy

Neurogesic Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
Neurogesic Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Driving
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Neurogesic Tablet may cause headaches, blurred vision, dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. This may affect your ability to drive.
Kidney
CAUTION
Neurogesic Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Neurogesic Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
CAUTION
Neurogesic Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Neurogesic Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
However, the use of Neurogesic Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
