Product introduction

Neegard Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. It is best taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for longer duration than recommended by your doctor.

Using this medicine may cause few common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach upset, and sleepiness. If you experienced any such side effects that do not resolve with time or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent them.

The medicine may not be suitable for everybody. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any medical conditions or disorders. Let your doctor also know all the other medicines you are taking to make sure it is safe. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctors first before using the medicine.


Note: As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Neegard Tablet is banned for children under 12 years of age.

Neegard Tablet is a combination medicine that contains painkiller as well as a muscle relaxant. It is used to relieve pain, inflammation, and swelling in conditions that affect muscles. Also, it effectively relieves muscle stiffness or spasm, thereby improving muscle movement. Neegard Tablet also reduces fever associated with muscular pain. It works by blocking certain chemicals that cause pain and fever. By reducing pain, it improves the quality of your life.

How Neegard Tablet works

Neegard Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Nimesulide, Paracetamol and Tizanidine which relieve pain and relax the muscles.Nimesulide is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) and Paracetamol is an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Tizanidine is a muscle relaxant. It works on brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.

Neegard Tablet is prescribed to relieve pain, inflammation, and muscle spasms. It is commonly used for muscle pain due to injuries or sprains, arthritis flare-ups, back pain, and spasms related to muscle or joint conditions.
Do not take Neegard Tablet if you are allergic to any of its ingredients, have active liver disease, severe kidney disease, stomach ulcers, bleeding disorders, or a history of severe heart disease or allergic reactions to painkillers.
Before using Neegard Tablet, tell your doctor if you have liver, kidney, or heart problems, a history of alcohol abuse, or if you are elderly. Avoid taking other painkillers or muscle relaxants at the same time unless prescribed. Use with caution if you have low blood pressure, as this medicine may further lower it.
Serious side effects of Neegard Tablet include persistent nausea and vomiting, yellowing of the skin or eyes (possible liver problems), severe abdominal pain, black or bloody stools, difficulty breathing, chest pain, dizziness, or unusual muscle weakness. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any of these symptoms.
Neegard Tablet may affect liver function, especially with prolonged or excessive use. Avoid alcohol and do not exceed the prescribed dose to reduce this risk. Inform your doctor about any history of liver issues.
