Expert advice for Bacitracin Topical

Clean and dry the site of infection before applying bacitracin.  Seek immediate medical attention if you develop any severe allergic reactions. Do not use topical bacitracin for eyes, deep wounds, animal bites or severe burns. Do not use bacitracin unnecessarily and avoid overuse. Tell your doctor if you are or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.  

Expert advice for Neomycin Topical

  • Avoid direct contact of cream/ ointment with your eyes. In case of direct contact, wash your eyes with water immediately and seek immediate medical attention.
  • Inform your doctor if symptoms do not disappear after 7 days of use. 
  • Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
  • Do not use if you are allergic to neomycin or any of its ingredients. 

Expert advice for Sulfacetamide Topical

  • Do not apply sulfacetamide topical while you are wearing contact lenses. Wait for at least 15-20 minutes after using sulfacetamide to put in the contact lenses.
  • Ensure that you do not rub your eyes even if your vision is blurred after applying sulfacetamide.
  • Do not drive or use any machinery after applying sulfacetamide as it may cause blurred vision.
  • Tell your doctor if you are or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding. 
  • It should not take if patient is allergic to sulfacetamide or any of its ingredients.
  • It sholud not given to infants <2 months.
