Nam Plus Tablet is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of pain due to muscle spasms. It improves the movement of muscles and provides relief from pain and discomfort associated with muscle spasms.
Nam Plus Tablet should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor.
Using this medicine can cause some common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach upset, sleepiness, weakness, and increased liver enzymes. If any of these side effects bother you or do not go away with time, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent these side effects.
The medicine may not be suitable for everybody. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any problems with your heart, kidneys, or liver. Note: As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Nam Plus Tablet is banned for children under 12 years of age.

How Nam Plus Tablet works
Nam Plus Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Nimesulide and Chlorzoxazone which relieve muscle pain. Nimesulide is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Chlorzoxazone is a muscle relaxant. It works by acting on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve the muscle stiffness or spasm.

Nam Plus Tablet is highly unsafe during pregnancy. It can cause serious harm to the unborn baby, including birth defects and pregnancy loss. Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.

Nam Plus Tablet may be unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. It should be used only if the expected benefit outweighs the potential risk. Please consult your doctor.
Nam Plus Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Nam Plus Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
Nam Plus Tablet is unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided.
What if you forget to take Nam Plus Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Nam Plus Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
