Myconorm CV Tablet should be taken in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. The dose and duration of the treatment will depend on the severity of your condition. Sometimes this will be in cycles of use and non-use. To get the most benefit, take this medicine at evenly spaced times and continue using it until your prescription is finished, even if your symptoms disappear after a few days. If you stop treatment too early, the infection may return.

Some common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, skin rashes, and abdominal pain. These are not usually serious and generally resolve on their own. However, you should call your doctor if you think you might have a severe allergic reaction and sign of liver problems such as yellowing of eyes, dark urine, and stomach problems. Get emergency help if this happens.

Before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Let your doctor also know if you are taking any other medications for the same condition or for any other medical conditions. Your doctor will weigh the risks and benefits and suggest you the best option.

How Myconorm Tablet works

Clindamycin is an antibiotic that stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Clotrimazole is an antifungal medicine that stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their protective covering. Tinidazole is also an antibiotic that kills other infectious microorganisms in addition to bacteria by damaging their DNA. Lactobacillus Sporogenes is a live micro-organism that maintains the vaginal tract in a healthy condition.

Quick tips

Myconorm CV Tablet is inserted into the vagina using an applicator, usually at night before going to bed.
Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
Avoid contact with your eyes. If accidental exposure occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
It may cause minor burning, stinging, or irritation when applied. Inform your doctor if this does not go away.
It can damage condoms and diaphragms and make them ineffective at preventing pregnancy. Ask your doctor about other suitable methods of preventing pregnancy.
Inform your doctor if your symptoms do not get improved within 3 days of taking the medicine.

Consumption of alcohol with Myconorm CV Tablet may cause a disulfiram-like reaction, leading to symptoms such as flushing, increased heart rate, low blood pressure, nausea, lightheadedness, and severe headache.

Pregnancy

The safety of Myconorm CV Tablet during pregnancy has not been established. There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women, and animal data on reproductive toxicity are insufficient. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing.

Breast feeding

CAUTION

Myconorm CV Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from the body.

Driving

Liver

CAUTION
