Product introduction

Movax Tablet is a pain-relieving medicine. It reduces pain and inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis. It may also relieve muscle pain, back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat.

Movax Tablet should be taken with or without food. It should be taken regularly as advised by your doctor. Your doctor may change the dose and time between doses according to your pain level and needs. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor.

Some of the common side effects of this medicine include nausea,  dizziness and diarrhoea. You should let your doctor know if any of these side effects bother you or if they do not go away with time. Your doctor may help you with ways to reduce or prevent these side effects by prescribing an alternative medicine or adjusting the dose.

Movax Tablet may not be suitable for everyone. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any problems with your heart, kidneys, or liver or have stomach ulcers. Take it as it is prescribed to get the most benefit. Do not take more or longer than needed as that can be dangerous. In general, you should take the lowest dose that works, for the shortest possible time. This will help you to go about your daily activities more easily and have a better, more active, quality of life.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Movax Tablet may be unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. It should be used only if the expected benefit outweighs the potential risk. Please consult your doctor.
Driving
UNSAFE
Movax Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
CAUTION
Movax Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
Use of Movax Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver
UNSAFE
Movax Tablet is unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided.
However, the use of Movax Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

What if you forget to take Movax Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Movax Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Yes, the use of Movax Tablet can cause nausea and vomiting. Taking it with milk, food, or antacids can prevent nausea. Avoid eating fatty or fried foods along with this medication. In case of vomiting, drink plenty of water or other fluids by taking small, frequent sips. Talk to your doctor if vomiting persists and you notice signs of dehydration, like dark-colored, strong-smelling urine and a low frequency of urination. Do not take any other medicine without speaking to your doctor.

Can the use of Movax Tablet cause dizziness?

Yes, using Movax Tablet can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady, or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, it is better to rest for some time and resume once you feel better.

Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Movax Tablet?

The use of Movax Tablet is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to any of the components or excipients of this medicine or in patients with known allergy to other painkillers (NSAIDs). It should preferably be avoided in patients with a history of stomach ulcers or patients with active, recurrent stomach ulcers/bleeding. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of heart failure, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease.

Can Movax Tablet be taken with vitamin B-complex?

Yes, Movax Tablet can be taken with vitamin B-complex preparations. While Movax Tablet helps relieve pain, vitamin B-complex can help correct the deficiency that might be causing the underlying painful condition.
