Nausea, Constipation, Diarrhoea, Fatigue, Headache, Dizziness, Slow heart rate, Increased blood uric acid, Decreased potassium level in blood, Glucose intolerance, Altered blood lipids, Cold extremities, Decreased magnesium level in blood, Increased calcium level in blood.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Metspot CT 50 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Metspot CT 50 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Metoprolol and chlorthalidone that help control your blood pressure. Metoprolol is a beta blocker that lowers your heart rate. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic that removes extra water and certain electrolytes from your body. This also reduces the risk of a heart attack or stroke.

Taking Chlorthalidone with alcohol may have additive effects
in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
