Product introduction

Metagesic SS Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. It is best taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for longer duration than recommended by your doctor.

Using this medicine may cause few common side effects such as indigestion, stomach pain, nausea, and heartburn. If you experienced any such side effects that do not resolve with time or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent them.

The medicine may not be suitable for everybody. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any medical conditions or disorders. Let your doctor also know all the other medicines you are taking to make sure it is safe. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctors first before using the medicine.

Metagesic SS Tablet is effective in relieving pain caused by headache, toothache, period (menstrual) pains, arthritis, muscle aches and pain after surgery. It blocks certain chemicals that causes pain and swelling. By reducing pain, it minimizes discomfort and thus improves the quality of your life. Along with painkiller, this medicine also contains an active ingredient called Serratiopeptidase, which is an enzyme that promotes the overall healing process and speeds up recovery. Metagesic SS Tablet works quickly, usually within a few hours. Take it as prescribed to get the most benefit.

Side effects of Metagesic SS Tablet

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

How Metagesic SS Tablet works

Metagesic SS Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Ibuprofen, Paracetamol and Serratiopeptidase which relieve pain. Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) and Paracetamol is an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme which works by breaking down abnormal proteins at the site of inflammation, and promotes healing.
