Lupex-Plus Tablet may be taken with or without food. However, it is advised to take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. Finish the full course of the treatment even if you feel better. It is important not to stop taking this medicine suddenly.
Some common side effects of this medicine include nausea, constipation, headache, insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), ejaculation disorder, erectile dysfunction, and low sexual desire. However, these are temporary and usually resolve on their own. Please consult your doctor if these do not subside or bother you.
You should avoid alcohol while taking Lupex-Plus Tablet, as it may worsen certain side effects. This medicine can also lead to weight gain, eat a healthy balanced diet, avoid snacking with high-calorie food, and exercise regularly. Inform your doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood or behavior, new or worsening depression, or suicidal thoughts or behavior.
