Lobain 400mg/65mg Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Ibuprofen and Dextropropoxyphene. They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever, pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
Taking Ibuprofen with alcohol increases the risk of stomach bleeding.

Lobain 400mg/65mg Capsule may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lobain 400mg/65mg Capsule is probably unsafe to use during lactation.
Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby. Even small doses of Lobain 400mg/65mg Capsule can cause infant sleepiness and decreased/altered brain function.
It is not known whether Lobain 400mg/65mg Capsule alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Lobain 400mg/65mg Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Lobain 400mg/65mg Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Lobain 400mg/65mg Capsule is not recommended in patients with end stage kidney disease.
