Levostat 500 LB Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It works by stopping the growth of microorganisms and killing the existing ones that cause the infection.

Levostat 500 LB Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Simply take the next dose as planned.

Levostat 500 LB Tablet is an antibiotic medicine prescribed to treat various infections caused by bacteria. These include diarrhea, sinus infections (sinusitis), chest infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia, skin infections, prostate infections (prostatitis), and urinary tract infections. Levostat 500 LB Tablet also contains Lactobacillus that restores the level of good bacteria in your stomach and thus prevents stomach upset due to the antibiotic.

Quick tips

Levostat 500 LB Tablet should be taken with or without food but at the same time every day.
Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
Discontinue Levostat 500 LB Tablet and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing.
Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools.
It is advisable to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water to overcome medicine side effects.
