Ketodrops LS Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: flurbiprofen and hydroxypropylmethylcellulose
which relieve dry and irritated eyes. Flurbiprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that causes pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a lubricating formulation similar to natural tears. It provides temporary relief of burning and discomfort due to dryness of the eye.
Ketodrops LS Eye Drop may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
