How Jemol D Tablet works

Jemol D 5mg/250mg Tablet contains two medicines: Domperidone and Paracetamol. Domperidone is an antiemetic that works on the vomiting center in the brain. It also increases the movement of the muscles of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach. This prevents nausea and vomiting caused due to migraines. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and an antipyretic (fever reducer) which blocks the release of certain chemical messengers that cause the pain associated with migraine.

Quick tips

  • If diarrhea develops as a side effect, encourage your child to drink plenty of fluids.
  • Never give any other medicines containing paracetamol along with this medicine as that may lead to serious side effects.
  • Do not alter the dose by yourself as it can result in unwanted side effects in your child.
  • Do not mix Jemol D 5mg/250mg Tablet with any herbal or ayurvedic preparations as it will not be effective.
