How to use Intazin LD Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Intazin LD Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Intazin LD Tablet works

Intazin LD Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cetirizine and Pseudoephedrine which relieve sneezing and runny nose due to allergies. Cetirizine is an antiallergic which blocks the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) responsible for runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing temporary relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose.

Alcohol
CAUTION
Intazin LD Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Pregnancy

Lactation
Intazin LD Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Driving

Intazin LD Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Kidney

Intazin LD Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Intazin LD Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Intazin LD Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver
Intazin LD Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Intazin LD Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
