Product introduction

Impoz Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.

There is limited data on the side effects of Impoz Tablet. Let your doctor know if you experience any symptoms that bother you or worsen while taking the medicine. They may be able to suggest ways to treat or manage the side effects.

Never support self-medication or recommend your medicine to another person. It is beneficial to have plenty of fluids while taking this medication. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. You should also tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you.

Cough with mucus
Impoz Tablet gives relief from cough with mucus. It helps to loosen thick mucus, making it easier to cough out. This makes breathing easy and reduces the frequency of coughing. Impoz Tablet usually starts to work within a few minutes and the effects can last up to several hours.
Along with medications, drink enough luke warm water and gargle with warm salt water to ease the symptoms.

How to use Impoz Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Impoz Tablet may be taken with or without food.

How Impoz Tablet works

Guaifenesin, phenylephrine and bromhexine which relieve cold symptoms. Guaifenesin is an expectorant which decreases the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and helps in its removal from the airways. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Bromhexine is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out.

  • Drink warm water to help loosen the congestion and lubricate your throat while you are taking this medication.
  • Take exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. Do not increase the dosage or take for longer than is recommended.
  • In general, most coughs do not last more than 2 weeks. If your cough does last longer than this, it's better to see your doctor.
  • Inform your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers or asthma.
