Chlorothymol is a multipurpose phenolic antiseptic / oral disinfectant. It is useful in symptomatic relief from common cold. Eucalyptol kills bacteria and eases breathing difficulties in conditions such as croup, asthma and bronchitis. Menthol relieves symptoms of bronchitis, sinusitis and similar conditions. Terpineol has antibacterial, antiviral, and immune system stimulant properties.
