How to use Fluwel Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Fluwel 0.25 mg/20 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Fluwel Tablet works

Fluwel 0.25 mg/20 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Alprazolam and fluoxetine which have anxiety-lowering and mood-enhancing effects. Alprazolam is a benzodiazepine (BZD) which increases the action of GABA, a chemical messenger that suppresses the abnormal activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Fluoxetine is selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) which increases the levels of serotonin, a chemical messenger that improves mood.

CAUTION
Fluwel 0.25 mg/20 mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Pregnancy
