Your pet's medicine at a glance

Fenfit Tablet is generally administered by mouth, usually mixed with food. The dose and duration will depend on the animal species and the type of parasite being treated. Always follow your veterinarian’s instructions. To get the full benefit, do not stop treatment early or skip doses. Keep up with your veterinarian’s deworming schedule, and follow proper hygiene practices to prevent reinfection.

At normal doses, Fenfit Tablet is well-tolerated and does not usually cause any common side effects. However, in some animals, it may cause mild and temporary side effects such as vomiting, drooling, diarrhea, or decreased appetite. If the animals experience any side effects that persist or worsen, stop the treatment and consult your veterinarian immediately.

Do not use Fenfit Tablet in animals that are allergic to fenbendazole or any ingredients in the product. It should not be given to sick or severely weak animals until the illness is treated. Avoid combining this medicine with bromsalan flukicides, as this can cause serious effects like abortion in cattle or death in sheep. This medicine is considered safe for use during pregnancy and lactation.

When used in food-producing animals, follow your veterinarian’s guidance on withdrawal periods for meat, milk, or eggs to avoid drug residues in food. Do not use this medicine within 14 days of liver fluke treatment.

Benefits of Fenfit Tablet for your pet

Treatment of Worm infections
Fenfit Tablet is an antiparasitic medicine (dewormer) used to treat and control worm infections in animals. It is effective against many types of internal worms, including roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, tapeworms, and lungworms. It helps eliminate active infections and, at the same time, supports long-term parasite control when used as part of a regular deworming program.

How can I give Fenfit Tablet to my pet?

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.

How Fenfit Tablet works

Fenfit Tablet works by blocking the process that the parasites need to take in and use nutrients. This interferes with glucose uptake and other vital metabolic processes, leading to energy depletion, paralysis, and eventually death of the parasite. This action only targets the worms and not the animal being treated, making Fenfit Tablet a safe and effective medicine for removing a wide range of worm infections.

Quick tips

  • Follow your veterinarian’s instructions carefully. The dose and duration will depend on your animal’s species, weight, and type of worm infection.
  • This medicine works best when given for several days in a row, usually 3 to 5 days. Stopping early can leave some worms alive and cause the infection to return.
  • Mix the medicine with a small amount of food or a treat to make it easier to swallow and to improve absorption, especially in dogs, cats, and other small animals.
  • Worm treatment can sometimes cause mild stomach upset. Make sure your animal has access to clean water and a calm environment.
  • Monitor your animal during treatment. Mild diarrhea or drooling may occur, but if you notice severe vomiting, weakness, swelling, or breathing problems, contact your veterinarian immediately.
  • Regular deworming helps prevent reinfection. Ask your veterinarian how often to repeat treatment depending on your animal’s lifestyle, exposure risk, and location.
  • Keep the medicine in its original container, tightly closed, and away from heat, moisture, and sunlight.
