Product introduction

FabiSpray Nasal Spray is a nasal spray used in adults with COVID-19 who are at high risk of disease progression. It contains nitric oxide, which has antiviral activity and works locally inside the nose.

Use this medicine exactly as advised by your doctor. Follow the instructions provided with the nasal spray for correct administration. Do not use more frequently or for longer than prescribed. Do not share the nasal spray bottle with anyone else, as this may spread infection.


The most commonly reported side effect is nasal discomfort. You may also experience irritation or a burning sensation inside the nose. Stop using the spray and contact your doctor if you develop a persistent burning sensation, headache or nosebleed.


Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding, as there is not enough information about the use of this medicine in these situations. This medicine has not been adequately studied in children below 18 years of age. The most common symptoms are fever, cough, loss of taste or smell, breathing difficulty, nasal congestion, and diarrhea among others. FabiSpray Nasal Spray is used to manage these symptoms in mildly infected individuals and helps you recover from the infection. FabiSpray Nasal Spray should be used only if prescribed by a doctor. If you think you have come in contact with a person who has been infected with COVID-19, or if you feel any of the symptoms, consult your doctor immediately.

How to use FabiSpray Nasal Spray

Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Insert the bottle tip into one nostril and close the other nostril. Direct the spray towards the sides of your nostril, away from the cartilage dividing the two sides of your nose. As you spray, breath gently and keep the head upright. Repeat the same process for the other nostrils.

How FabiSpray Nasal Spray works

FabiSpray Nasal Spray when sprayed in nostrils acts as a physical and chemical barrier against SARS-CoV-2, preventing the virus from growing and spreading to the lungs.

Dosage

Use it as prescribed or as mentioned on the product label. It is usually recommended 2 sprays in each nostril, 6 times a day for 1 week in adults with COVID-19. Do not exceed the recommended dose or duration.

  • Do not use FabiSpray Nasal Spray immediately after washing your face. If it is mixed with certain soaps or gets diluted with water, its effectiveness may reduce.
