Erypeg 50mcg Injection is generally given by a doctor or a nurse. Do not self-administer this medicine at home. The dose depends on your body weight and the cause of your anemia. Get the injection regularly until you complete the dose. Iron supplements both before and during treatment may make this treatment more effective.

Before you start Erypeg 50mcg Injection, let your doctor know if you have any medical conditions. • Anemia due to cancer chemotherapy
• Anemia due to chronic kidney disease

• Erypeg 50mcg Injection increases hemoglobin level and improves physical functioning in patients with chronic kidney failure or undergoing chemotherapy.
• Before and during the treatment with Erypeg 50mcg Injection, your iron level and blood pressure will be monitored regularly.
• Erypeg 50mcg Injection is not indicated for the treatment of anemia in cancer patients due to
  other factors such as iron or folate deficiencies, hemolysis, or gastrointestinal bleeding.
• Erypeg 50mcg Injection may also be given before certain operations where the chances of significant blood loss and blood transfusion are high. This is to reduce the need for blood transfusions during and after surgery.
• Inform your doctor if you have a history of seizures, strokes, or blood disorders (sickle cell anemia)
• Avoid potentially hazardous activities such as driving or operating heavy machinery while taking Erypeg 50mcg Injection.
