Product introduction

EP Plus Tablet should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor.


Using this medicine can cause some common side effects such as dizziness, weakness, and sleepiness. If any of these side effects bother you or do not go away with time, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent these side effects.


The medicine may not be suitable for everybody. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any problems with your heart, kidneys, or liver. To make sure it is safe for you, let your doctor also know all the other medicines you are taking. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should first consult their doctors before using the medicine.

EP Plus Tablet treats pain due to muscle spasm by relaxing stiff muscles. It also reduces swelling in the muscles. Altogether, it helps in easy movement and reduces discomfort. EP Plus Tablet also helps reduce fever associated with muscle spasm. Take it as prescribed. Once you see some improvement, you can start doing therapy exercises (such as walking or breathing exercises) that will help you get your strength back more quickly.

How EP Plus Tablet works

EP Plus Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Eperisone and Paracetamol, which relieve pain and relax the muscles. Eperisone is a muscle relaxant. It works by acting on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasms. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and an antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever.

Make sure that you get plenty of sleep and try to reduce stress. Applying an ice pack to the affected area may help relieve pain and inflammation. If your muscle pain is due to some other disease, follow the advice of your doctor.
No, there are no known reports of any patient getting addicted to EP Plus Tablet.
EP Plus Tablet is usually used for the short term and can be discontinued when your pain is relieved. However, EP Plus Tablet should be continued if you are advised by your doctor to do so.
EP Plus Tablet contains paracetamol. This medicine is known to cause harm to the liver, especially in doses above the recommended level. Also, avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, as it may further increase your risk of liver damage. Use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with underlying liver disease. Contact your doctor immediately if you notice any early signs and symptoms of liver damage. These symptoms may include fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, stomach pain, dark urine, yellow skin or eyes, and abnormal liver enzymes.
It may take about an hour to see the initial benefit of pain relief after taking EP Plus Tablet.
No, taking a higher dose than the recommended dose may not be more effective; rather, it may increase the chances of having some serious side effects and toxicity. If you experience increased severity of your symptoms, which are not relieved by the recommended doses, please consult your doctor for reevaluation.
Keep this medicine in the container or the pack it came in, tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose of the unused medicine. Make sure it is not consumed by pets, children, or other people.
