Elores 2000mg Injection is also sometimes given before certain types of surgery to prevent infections that may develop after the operation.

How Elores Injection works

Elores 2000mg Injection is a combination of three medicines: Ceftriaxone, Disodium edetate and Sulbactam. Ceftriaxone is an antibiotic. Disodium edetate is an adjuvant while Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. They are added to reduce resistance and enhance the activity of Ceftriaxone against bacteria.

These usually resolve after stopping therapy and rarely need surgery, but doctors will decide whether to continue or stop treatment if symptoms occur.

Does kidney or liver disease change how Elores 2000mg Injection is given?
