Ecoset Ear Drop

Ecoset Ear Drop is to be used as per the label instructions or as suggested by your doctor. Use it only on the affected ear. Use it regularly to get the most benefit. The course of the medicine should be completed even if you feel better. Wash your hands before administering the medicine. Do not use it more than the recommended dose.

Generally, this is a safe medicine. However, it may cause mild and temporary irritation in the ear in some people. Consult your doctor if any side effects persist or worry you. If you experience any allergic reaction (rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, etc.), you must seek immediate medical help.

The medicines that are used externally usually do not get affected by other medicines, however, you should let your doctor know if you are taking any medicines to ensure safety. Ask your doctor for advice if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.  If you are a known allergic reaction to the medicine, you must refrain from using this medicine and consult the doctor.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside ear.

Ecoset Ear Drop is a combination of three medicines: Ofloxacin, Beclometasone and Clotrimazole which treat ear infections. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Beclometasone is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the ear red, swollen and itchy. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering.
