Dvn Ibs Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Drotaverine, Clidinium and Chlordiazepoxide. Drotaverine is an anti-spasmodic medicine. It relieves spasms associated with smooth muscles. Clidinium works by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms). In doing this, it relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Chlordiazepoxide is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
