Product introduction

Duvanta NP 20 Tablet may be taken with or without food. However, it is advised to take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. Finish the full course of the treatment even if you feel better. It is important not to stop taking this medicine suddenly.

Some common side effects of this medicine include nausea, constipation, headache, insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), ejaculation disorder, erectile dysfunction, and low sexual desire. However, these are temporary and usually resolve on their own. Please consult your doctor if these do not subside or bother you.

You should avoid alcohol while taking Duvanta NP 20 Tablet, as it may worsen certain side effects. Duloxetine in Duvanta NP 20 Tablet is an antidepressant that reduces nerve pain, while methylcobalamin (active vitamin B12) in Duvanta NP 20 Tablet helps restore and protect nerve function.
Before taking Duvanta NP 20 Tablet, tell your doctor if you have a history of liver or kidney disease, glaucoma, mania, or seizures, bleeding disorders, bipolar disorder, or if you drink large amounts of alcohol. Also, mention to your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or using other medications.
Individuals should not use Duvanta NP 20 Tablet if they are allergic to duloxetine, methylcobalamin, or any other ingredients present in it. Serious side effects of Duvanta NP 20 Tablet include allergic reactions (swelling, rash, trouble breathing), severe skin reactions, liver problems (yellowing of eyes, or skin, dark urine), abnormal mood, or behavior changes (thoughts of self-harm), easy bruising, or signs of serotonin syndrome (agitation, fast heartbeat, hallucinations, muscle stiffness, or vomiting). Seek immediate medical help if you experience any of these symptoms.
