Dmp Plus Oral Suspension

Give Dmp Plus Oral Suspension to your child orally, preferably 30 minutes before meals. Stick to the dose, time, and way prescribed by your doctor as that depends on your child’s clinical condition, body weight, and age.  In case your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking this medicine, let the child calm down, and then repeat the dose.
Dmp Plus Oral Suspension should be given at the first sign of a migraine attack. If symptoms persist, further doses may be given but a gap of 4 hours must be maintained between each dose. However, never exceed the total dose that has been prescribed for a day.
Diarrhea, rash, restlessness, and drowsiness are some of the common yet temporary side effects of this medicine. Make sure to report to your child’s doctor if the side effects persist or become bothersome for your child.
Before giving this medicine to your child, let the doctor know if your child has had any previous episodes of medicine allergy, metabolic disorder, liver impairment, kidney malfunction, asthma, or blood disorder. This information is critical for dose alterations and for planning your child’s overall treatment.

• Treatment of Migraine

Dmp Plus Oral Suspension does not pose serious side effects and is well-tolerated by children. In case the side effects do occur, they’re likely to subside once the body adapts to the medicine. Consult your child’s doctor if these side effects persist or bother your child. The most common side effects include-

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Dmp Plus Oral Suspension is to be taken on an empty stomach.

Dmp Plus Oral Suspension contains two medicines: Domperidone and Paracetamol. Domperidone is an antiemetic that works on the vomiting center in the brain. It also increases the movement of the muscles of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach. This prevents nausea and vomiting caused due to migraines. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and an antipyretic (fever reducer) which blocks the release of certain chemical messengers that cause the pain associated with migraine.
