Dilosyn Syrup is an antiallergic medication used in the treatment of various allergic conditions. It provides relief from symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing, congestion, and itchy and watery eyes.
Dilosyn Syrup may be taken with or without food. Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The dose and how often you take it will depend on what you are being treated for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Take it for as long as it is prescribed to you. In case, you have missed any doses, take the next dose as soon as you remember it. However, you should never take a double dose.
Sleepiness is the most common side effect of this medicine. Avoid driving or attention-seeking activity. In some cases, it may cause dryness of mouth. To prevent dry mouth, drink more water and maintain good oral hygiene.
Before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you have glaucoma or have any gastro-related issues, or have high blood pressure. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, or breastfeeding. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works. Generally, it is advised to avoid alcohol while on treatment.
Dilosyn Syrup is used to treat many different inflammatory and allergic conditions. It works by lowering your immune system’s response to these conditions and prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation. It helps relieve symptoms such as swelling, pain, itching, and other allergic-type reactions. If you are not sure why you are being given this medicine, ask your doctor.
This medicine is given orally (by mouth). You should always take it as it has been prescribed for you. Do not stop taking it without your doctor’s advice. This can cause unpleasant withdrawal symptoms. Because this medicine weakens your immune system, you should avoid being near people who are ill or have infections.

I am suffering from heavy coughing at night somehow from 3 weeks. During starting 2-3 days it was a very sore throat, i was not able to speak even. While coughing Initially it is a dry cough but after coughing sometime, it comes with mucus. It stops automatically when I vomit or after 10-15 mins. Or after it becomes chronic. I have taken azithromycin 6 tabs. And also taken fynal oz, dilosyn syrup and doxomax-12tabs.each after consulting a doctor. Doctor told it is a throat infection. During the course of fynal oz and doxomax, I felt okay. But after the course i.e from yesterday, the cough is back. I don't understand the possible cause. I am a smoker since 2 years (not heavy smoker, generally 2-3 cigarettes/day). Bt since the problem started, I have quit smoking.
