Methdilazine is used in the treatment of pruiritis (itching, redness and swelling of skin) due to allergic reactions and perennial or seasonal allergic rhinitis (sneezing, watery and itchy eyes, running of nose).
How it works
Methdilazine belongs to a class of drugs called phenothiazines. It blocks the substance which causes allergic reactions, thereby relieving the allergic symptoms.

- Tell your doctor if you have a history of ulcer, heart disease, asthma, lung infection, prostate enlargement, inability of the kidneys and liver to function, fits, and slow movements.
- Do not drive or operate machinery as methdilazine may cause drowsiness or dizziness.
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
- Do not take if having stomach obstruction, urinary obstruction, increased pressure inside the eye that causes vision problems.
