Product introduction

Dicobon-PS Tablet is a pain-relieving medicine. It helps in relieving moderate pain and reducing fever. It is used in various conditions such as muscle ache, back pain, joint pain, menstrual cramps, and toothache.

Dicobon-PS Tablet should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. The dose and duration will depend on what you are taking it for and how well it helps your symptoms. You should keep taking the medicine even if you feel better until the doctor says it is alright to stop using it.

Using this medicine may cause few common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, headache, vertigo, stomach pain, indigestion, and heartburn. If you experience any such side effects that do not go away or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the symptoms. Dicobon-PS Tablet is a combination of medicines that is used for short term relief of pain, inflammation and swelling. It inhibits release of those chemical messengers in the brain that tell us that we have pain. It effectively relieves back pain, earache, throat pain, toothache, periods pain and pain due to arthritis too.
Take Dicobon-PS Tablet as prescribed by the doctor to get the most benefit. Do not take more or for longer than needed as that can be dangerous. In general, you should take the lowest dose that works, for the shortest possible time. This will help you to go about your daily activities more easily and have a better, more active, quality of life.

How Dicobon-PS Tablet works

Dicobon-PS Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Diclofenac, Paracetamol and Serratiopeptidase, which relieves pain. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and Paracetamol is an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme which works by breaking down abnormal proteins at the site of inflammation, and promotes healing.

Breast feeding

Dicobon-PS Tablet may be unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. It should be used only if the expected benefit outweighs the potential risk. Please consult your doctor.

Driving

UNSAFE

Dicobon-PS Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

What if you forget to take Dicobon-PS Tablet?

I have fever from 15 days could you suggest me any blood test for same. I taked medicine from different 3 Dr. Bt no change. From 5 days my fever will came any time goes anytime. Is it safe to use Dicobon-PS Tablet?

Yes, Dicobon-PS Tablet is safe for most of the patients, however, in some patients it may cause common unwanted side effects like nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, heartburn and diarrhea. Inform your doctor as soon as possible if you experience any persistent problem due to the medication.

Can I stop taking Dicobon-PS Tablet when my pain is relieved?

Dicobon-PS Tablet is usually used for a short term and can be discontinued when the pain is relieved. However, Dicobon-PS Tablet should be continued if you are advised by your physician to do so.

Can the use of Dicobon-PS Tablet cause nausea and vomiting?

Yes, the use of Dicobon-PS Tablet can cause nausea and vomiting.Taking it with milk, food or with antacids can prevent nausea. Avoid taking fatty or fried foods along with this medication. In case of vomiting, drink plenty of water or other fluids by taking small frequent sips. Talk to your doctor if vomiting persists and you notice signs of dehydration, like dark colored and strong-smelling urine and a low frequency of urination. Do not take any other medicine without speaking to your doctor.

Can the use of Dicobon-PS Tablet cause dizziness?

Yes, the use of Dicobon-PS Tablet can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, it is better to rest for sometime and resume once you feel better. Do not drive or use any machines.

Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Dicobon-PS Tablet?

The use of Dicobon-PS Tablet is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to any of the components or excipients of this medicine or in patients with known allergy to other painkillers (NSAIDs). The use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with a history of stomach ulcers or in patients with active, recurrent stomach ulcer/bleeding. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of heart failure, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease.

Can I take Dicobon-PS Tablet with vitamin B-complex?

Dicobon-PS Tablet can be taken with Vitamin B-complex preparations. While Dicobon-PS Tablet helps to relieve pain, Vitamin B-complex can help to correct the vitamin deficiency that might be causing your symptoms.

Can I take Dicobon-PS Tablet for stomach pain?

No, Dicobon-PS Tablet preferably should not be taken for stomach pain without consulting a physician. This drug can increase stomach acid secretion which may aggravate an unknown underlying condition.

Can the use of Dicobon-PS Tablet cause damage to kidneys?
