Diclorelax Gel gives fast relief from pain and swelling in conditions like arthritis, muscle and back ache by creating a cooling-warming effect. It works by causing the skin to feel cool and then warm. These feelings on the skin distract you from feeling the pain. Diclorelax Gel work best if they are used as the first signs of pain occur. Apply a thin layer of the medicine to the affected area no more than 3 to 4 times a day and rub in gently and thoroughly.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

How to use Diclorelax Gel

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

How Diclorelax Gel works

Diclofenac diethylamine and Methyl Salicylate are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) which work by blocking the release of chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Oleum lini contains essential fatty acids which further reduce swelling and improves blood circulation. Menthol produces a cooling effect on the skin. Menthol dilates the blood vessels causing a sensation of coldness, followed by an analgesic effect. Menthol also acts as a penetration enhancer, increasing the penetration of drugs when applied on the skin, to give a faster onset of action.

Does Diclorelax Gel affect sun sensitivity or cause skin reactions?

Yes. Local irritation (redness, itching, dermatitis) can occur after using Diclorelax Gel. Rarely, blistering or photosensitivity reactions happen. Minimize sun exposure on treated areas and discontinue if significant skin reactions appear.
