Medicine Overview of Dec Tablet
Dec Tablet is used in the treatment of parasitic infections.
Nausea, Loss of appetite, Sleepiness, Headache, Allergic reaction.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Dec Tablet is to be taken with food.
However, it is advisable to take it immediately after food.
Dec Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Guaifenesin, Diethylcarbamazine and Chlorpheniramine which treat parasitic infections. Guaifenesin is an expectorant which decreases the stickiness of mucus (phlegm), helping in its removal from the airways. Diethylcarbamazine is an antiparasitic medicine which works by decreasing the muscular activity and causing paralysis of the worms. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which decreases the raised eosinophil count (white blood cells) and controls allergic symptoms like cough and breathlessness.
