Frequently asked questions

Coftime Syrup is used to relieve cough with mucus, chest congestion, and allergy-related symptoms such as sneezing, a runny nose, and throat irritation. It helps loosen thick mucus in the airways, making it easier to cough out and breathe more comfortably during respiratory infections and allergic conditions.
Coftime Syrup contains Ambroxol, Desloratadine, Guaifenesin, and Menthol. Ambroxol and Guaifenesin help thin and loosen mucus trapped in the airways, making it easier to clear. Desloratadine helps relieve allergy symptoms such as sneezing and a runny nose, while Menthol provides a soothing sensation in the throat and airways.
Yes, Coftime Syrup can generally be taken with or without food. However, taking it after meals may feel more comfortable on the stomach, especially if you are using it for several days.
Yes. Coftime Syrup is specifically designed to help manage productive coughs where mucus or phlegm is present. It helps loosen and thin thick mucus, making it easier to clear from the airways through coughing.
Coftime Syrup is generally more suitable for coughs that produce mucus. If you have a dry, irritating cough without phlegm, your doctor may recommend a different treatment depending on the cause of your symptoms.
The mucus-loosening ingredients in Coftime Syrup help break up thick secretions in the airways, while Menthol provides a soothing sensation that may make breathing feel more comfortable. As mucus becomes easier to clear, some individuals notice a reduction in chest heaviness and congestion.
Coughing is the body's natural way of clearing loosened mucus from the airways. As Coftime Syrup starts working, you may continue to cough while mucus is being removed. The cough usually becomes less troublesome as the underlying condition improves.
Coftime Syrup may be prescribed for children when considered appropriate by a doctor. The dose depends on the child's age, weight, and symptoms, so it should be used exactly as directed.
Continue taking Coftime Syrup for the duration recommended by your doctor, even if you start feeling better. Stopping treatment too early may allow symptoms to return before the underlying condition has fully settled.
Some individuals may notice easier mucus clearance and reduced congestion within a few days of regular use. The time to improvement can vary depending on the cause of the cough and the amount of mucus present.
If your cough continues despite treatment, keeps returning, or is accompanied by symptoms such as persistent fever, breathing difficulties, or worsening chest discomfort, your doctor may need to evaluate the underlying cause further.
