Product introduction

Clearine Eye Drops is to be used only in the affected eye in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. It is advised to check the label for directions before use. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.

Use of this medicine may cause burning sensation, irritation, itching, and redness at the application site. These are usually temporary and resolve with time. However, if they persist or get worse, inform your doctor. In case of accidental contact with your ears, nose, or mouth, immediately rinse it with water.

Inform your doctor if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients in this medicine or if you are taking any other medication. It is advised not to drive or operate heavy machinery immediately after using this medicine as it may cause temporary blurring of vision and may affect your ability to drive.

How to use Clearine Ophthalmic Solution

Clearine Eye Drops is a combination of two medicines: boric acid and naphazoline.

  • Clearine Eye Drops provides soothing relief from eye irritation due to allergy. 
  • Clearine Eye Drops should usually be used twice a day (in the morning and the evening). If your symptoms are particularly severe, your doctor may suggest you use them up to four times a day.
  • Wash your hands first before applying Clearine Eye Drops. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface.
  • After applying Clearine Eye Drops, close your eyes, and place one finger at the corner of your eye. Apply gentle pressure for 1 to 2 minutes before opening your eyes. This will prevent the medication from draining out. Try not to blink or rub your eye.
  • If you normally wear contact lenses, please wear your spectacles instead until your doctor advises you that it is suitable for you to wear your lenses again.
