It contains a diuretic (water pill) and will make you urinate more, so it is best to avoid taking this medicine within four hours of going to bed. How Cilacar OC Tablet works

Cilacar OC Tablet is a combination of three medicines: olmesartan medoxomil, cilnidipine, and chlorthalidone. Olmesartan medoxomil is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB), and cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). They work by widening and relaxing the blood vessels, thereby lowering blood pressure. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic that removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time, it also works by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow.

What if you forget to take Cilacar OC Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Cilacar OC Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
