Product introduction
Cheri-XT Syrup can be taken with or without food. Take it regularly and at the same time each day to get the most benefit. The dose and how often you take it will depend on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will determine the right dose to help improve your condition. Continue taking the medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you.
Common side effects of Cheri-XT Syrup include nausea, constipation, dark stools, and upset stomach. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them.
Let your doctor know about all the other medicines you are taking, as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works. People who are allergic to iron should avoid this medicine. It should also not be used by those with certain iron storage disorders like hemosiderosis or hemochromatosis, or by those with bacterial infections. If you have a peptic ulcer, inform your doctor before taking Cheri-XT Syrup.
