How to use Carnozin Syrup

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Carnozin SF Syrup is to be taken empty stomach.

How Carnozin Syrup works

Carnozin sf syrup forms a coating over the ulcer or any other raw surface. This creates a physical barrier that protects the ulcer/raw surface from the gastric acid or any other injury, allowing it to heal.

Expert advice for Carnozin Syrup

  • Do not take the Carnozin at least 2 hours before or after taking other medicines. It may interact with these other medicines
  • Take Carnozin on an empty stomach, preferably 1 hour before a meal.
  • Avoid taking antacids, before or after 30 minutes of taking a dose of Carnozin.
  • Notify your doctor if you have a kidney disorder, as it may put you at a greater risk of developing aluminum overload.
  • Notify your doctor, if you are or planning to become pregnant.

Missed Dosageuses

If you miss a dose of Sucralfate, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
