Candibiotic Ear Drop is a medicine used to treat ear infections. It works by killing and inhibiting the growth of microorganisms in the ear. This relieves discomfort, itching, irritation, and pain in the ear.
Candibiotic Ear Drop is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. This medicine should be used regularly to get the most benefit from it. You can help the medicine work better by keeping the affected areas clean, making sure they are dry, and washing your hands before and after treating the infection.
It is generally well-tolerated with little or no side effects. However, it may cause irritation, itching, and burning sensation immediately following application. These side effects are temporary and usually subside on their own. Inform your doctor if they persist for a longer duration.
Although medicines used on the ear are not normally affected by other medicines, you should let your doctor know if you are taking any other medicine to be safe. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask the advice of your doctor before using the medicine.
Candibiotic Ear Drop is a combination of medicines used to treat ear infections caused by microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi. It works by killing and stopping the growth of infections causing microorganisms, thereby clearing the infection. It also blocks the release of chemicals that cause symptoms such as itching, redness, swelling, and ear discharge. Therefore this medicine relieves the inflammation due to these infections.
You should use this medicine for as long as it is prescribed, even if your symptoms disappear, otherwise they may come back. Depending on the type of infection you are treating, this may be several weeks. Even after your infection is completely cured, you may have to use it occasionally to prevent the symptoms from returning.

How Candibiotic Ear Drop works
Candibiotic Ear Drop is a combination of four medicines: Lidocaine, Beclometasone, Clotrimazole and Chloramphenicol, which treats ear infections. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic which works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to brain thereby decreasing pain sensation. Beclometasone is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the ear red, swollen and itchy. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Chloramphenicol is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins.
